Privacy notice

We collect the data needed to operate SmokeOps.

This pilot privacy notice explains the current product behavior. A qualified attorney should review it before a wider commercial launch.

Information collected

We may store demo-request email addresses, account and role information, store configuration, catalog and barcode information, receiving and physical-count records, POS export contents, generated reports, security events, and audit history.

How it is used

Information is used to provide inventory estimates, reconciliation, reports, recommendations, access control, support, security, and manual pilot follow-up. SmokeOps does not currently run automated email marketing from demo submissions.

Sharing and retention

SmokeOps does not sell store operational data. Infrastructure providers may process data to host, back up, or monitor the service. Operational records are retained while needed for the customer relationship, auditability, security, and applicable legal obligations.

Requests and limitations

Contact SmokeOps to request correction or deletion of demo-contact information. Store-record deletion may be limited where retention is necessary for audit integrity, dispute resolution, security, or legal obligations. Inventory estimates depend on complete source data and human counts.
